The Child Abuse and Neglect Technical Assistance and Strategic Dissemination Center, which was funded by the Children’s Bureau’s Office on Child Abuse and Neglect, released a video, “Dad’s Rock: Getting Real with Fathers,” that highlights the importance of engaging fathers through the Nurturing Parenting Program. The Nurturing Parent Program a family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices.
